Inaugural Hall Of Fame
Class
April 26, 2011 - It is with
great honor and respect that the Miami-Dade Mets announce
the inaugural class of the Miami-Dade Mets Hall Of Fame.
The players were chosen on a number of factors including
statistics, longevity and most of all, impact on the
Miami-Dade Mets, its franchise and its history. The
inaugural class is made up of three distinctly different
individuals, but at the same time three individuals with one
similar passion, baseball.
The
Miami-Dade Mets are honored to announce Dean Cosme, Rolando
Gonzalez and Elis Rodriguez are the inaugural class of the
Miami-Dade Mets Hall Of Fame. No three players had
more of an impact on the Miami-Dade Mets than Dean, Roly and
Elis. Check out more on the Hall Of Fame Page.
Championship Comes Home
August 16, 2010 -
The Spring Cyclones of the North Houston Wood Bat League, the team run
by Manager Dean Cosme, has won the NHWBL Spring 2010 Championship.
Congratulations to Dean and his team!
Alive And Well
September 29, 2009 -
The Miami-Dade Mets may have come to an end in 2007, but that didn't
mean that Dean and his love of the Mets ended. Dean Cosme moved to
Houston and joined the North Houston Wood Bat League and now manages the
Spring Cyclones. Although they are currently in rebuilding mode,
Dean hasn't lost his competitive spirit and looks to bring the Cyclones
to the top as soon as possible.
